Kim Soo Hyun's agency, GOLD MEDALIST, announced on April 30 that it has filed an additional complaint and indictment against Kim Se Ui, operator of the Garosero Research Institute YouTube channel, for violating South Korea's Stalking Punishment Act.

In a statement released online, GOLD MEDALIST said, "Gold Medalist and Kim Soo Hyun have filed a complaint and indictment against Kim Se Ui, the operator of the Garosero Research Institute YouTube channel, for violating the Stalking Punishment Act."

The agency noted that it initially filed a complaint on April 1, 2025, after Kim Se Ui repeatedly spread false information about Kim Soo Hyun.
The authorities deemed this conduct to be stalking. An interim measure was applied on April 22 and accepted by the Seoul Central District Court on April 23, ordering Kim Se Ui to stop stalking.
Despite the court order, Kim Se Ui continued to spread false information through his YouTube channel.
GOLD MEDALIST stated, "Although Kim Se Ui's actions constituted stalking and were ruled prohibited, he ignored it and continued to spread false information about Kim Soo Hyun through his YouTube channel."
The statement also highlighted the legal consequences facing Kim Se Ui: "Kim Se Ui's above actions are in violation of the court's decision and are subject to criminal punishment of up to two years in prison or a fine of up to 20,000,000 KRW (approximately $14,073.85).Gold Medalist and Kim Soo Hyun have filed additional charges against him."
The case stems from allegations made by Garosero Research Institute that late actress Kim Sae Ron had been dating Kim Soo Hyun since she was a minor.
This claim has been central to ongoing disputes involving both parties.
This lawsuit comes after a number of related incidents, from news related to the lawyer of Kim Sae Ron's family and others in connection with the case.

GOLD MEDALIST has maintained a firm stance against the spreading of false information about its artist and continues to pursue legal action to protect Kim Soo Hyun's reputation.
