YouTuber Lee Jin Ho personally demonstrated that he has identified the sound of artificial voice manipulation and editing after criticizing the audio recordings of actress Kim Sae Ron, who passed away.

In a video released on May 13, Lee said that his team had conducted a forensic review of the recordings, which were previously released by the Garo Sero Institute.

The audio in question contains claims that actress Kim Sae Ron had a sexual relationship with actor Kim Soo Hyun while she was still in middle school.

"You can see how much they edited the recording," Lee said. "In the KakaoTalk messages from 2016, which Kim Se Ui revealed in March, it was revealed that the two didn't even kiss. The data they exposed makes conflicting claims about the duration of their relationship."

Lee criticized the lack of thorough verification before the recordings were made public.

"Shouldn't objective data verification be a top priority? I requested that the company analyze the recorded file," he said.

According to Lee, two versions of the recording were reviewed: one sent to Kim Soo Hyun and another sent directly to him. The version received by Kim Soo Hyun served as a control.

"The recorded file sent to Kim Soo Hyun was important as a control group because it was the first piece of data," he said.

Lee said the analysis determined that portions of the audio had likely been generated using AI-based synthesis or voice modulation technologies.

"Through the detailed analysis, traces of editing were confirmed throughout the file, and it was determined that the flow of conversation between the man and woman was most likely artificially manipulated through editing," he said.

He added that some sections showed a "high possibility" of being produced using artificial voice modulation.

"Kim Se Ui, this is how you verify something. You must be even more cautious if someone's life is at stake. I hope you take responsibility for your actions," Lee said, addressing the figure behind the initial disclosure of the recordings.

In March, the Garo Sero Institute released an alleged audio clip between Kim Sae Ron and an unnamed acquaintance recorded in New Jersey.

Following its release, Kim Soo Hyun's agency dismissed the recording as fabricated and vowed legal action.

This development is the latest in a series of controversies surrounding Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun, whose alleged relationship has remained under intense public scrutiny.
