Park Ji Hyun will not be returning to the second season of SBS's 2024 drama hit "Flex x Cop," as her agency assured on Wednesday.

Actress Park, as reported by entertainment news site MyDaily, will not be appearing in the second season.
With her decision not to continue, production is now looking for another actress to play the role.
Casting is still in the process of being done, and production is set to start early next year once they have found a suitable replacement.
Namoo Actors, Park's agency, had the confirmation in a short statement. "Due to scheduling conflicts, Park Ji Hyun will not be joining the next season," the agency wrote.
"Flex x Cop" tracks the development of Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun), a young third-generation chaebol who becomes a detective due to his privileged upbringing, and Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun), an experienced workaholic detective and the first female team leader in the Homicide Department.
The show premiered with a national average rating of 5.7 percent and reached a high of 11 percent.
Park Ji Hyun was recently confirmed to lead the cast in tvN's new office rom-com "Back to Work!" (literal title) with Seo In Guk.
