In a fourth statement issued on Aug. 25, "A" explained email communications with Song Hayoon's agency and efforts to settle the issue without going further.

"I had no intention of making this into a dispute from the beginning. After the third statement, I suggested to her law firm that we cease all legal action and resolve the matter with dignity," "A" said.

They said the suggestion was made as a last expression of goodwill and offer of an honorable settlement.

The statement also outlined disagreements over expenses during entry into Korea. "A" originally booked a business economy flight out of pocket but eventually accepted reimbursement of limited travel expenses — 1.2 million KRW ($865) for airfare and 300,000 KRW ($216) for three nights' accommodation.

Disagreements arose over other expenses according to "A,".
"Song's side informed us that they view a rental car as 'personal use' and did not include it in the settlement. They also informed us that only part of the entire stay cost would be paid within a specific amount," they asserted.

In another section of the statement, "A" emphasized that the agency's portrayal of paying for everything was deceptively misleading.

"will prepay all expenses, including airfare, lodging, and transportation, and settle all expenses in full upon arrival. Future related costs will be handled through separate legal procedures.

Song Hayoong's side represented it as paying 100% of the total, but in reality, it is only a partial settlement within a limited scope. Even with simple calculations, I will have to bear at least six times more than Song Hayoon's limited support," "A" claimed.

Currently based in Korea, "A" stated that they will go ahead and file a complaint and reveal what they called an institutional cover-up.

They also affirmed intentions to sue the Office of Education and Banpo High School while drafting a damages claim worth ₩10 billion KRW (approximately $7.22 million USD).

"A" ended by asserting that the case is not driven by vengeance. These are not personal revenge action, but protest against judicial order and for safeguarding the public interest," they added.

Song Hayoon, on the other hand, has purportedly filed a fresh complaint in relation thereto.
