T.O.P, a South Korean singer and actor, has chosen not to ask KBS to review a recent broadcast review decision again. As a result, several tracks from his most recent album are not suitable for air.

The decision comes after the artist's first full-length solo album in 13 years, called Multiple Perspectives, which is a big deal for him because he is back in the music business. However, the national broadcaster has put restrictions on a large part of the album.
The agency's official addressed the issue following the public release of the review results. "Since the music is already complete, we have no intention of undergoing a re-review."
The same representative went into more detail about how they felt about the broadcaster's decision. "We respect the broadcaster's decision of disqualification, as it is also a matter of multiple perspectives."
MK (Maeil Business Star Today,) reported that the comments show that the artist and his agency made a conscious decision to stick with the original work instead of making changes so that it could be shown on TV.
Earlier on April 8, KBS released its evaluation results, which showed that seven of the album's eleven tracks did not meet its broadcasting standards. The affected songs include "BE SOLID," "Cone Cone," "Feeling of Living in Seoul," "Another Dimension Holy Dude!!!!!!!," "ZERO-CAKE," "Totally Crazy," and "TOP-Yook."

Reports on Naver summarized the broadcaster's reasons. The disqualification was based on the fact that the lyrics included curse words, vulgar language, and offensive phrases, as well as mentions of certain brands of products.
There was more information about other issues that came up during the review. KBS said there were problems with "lyrics that raise concerns about encouraging the use of harmful drugs or narcotics by minors or other illegal activities."
Despite its inability to air on the radio, the album has garnered significant global attention. Multiple Perspectives, which came out on April 3, was T.O.P's first solo album in more than ten years.
Industry data showed how the project did at first on streaming sites. The album was streamed 1.47 million times on Spotify within a day, indicating the continued interest of people worldwide in the artist's music.
The outlet said that the KBS decision limits the album's exposure on domestic broadcasts, but it doesn't stop it from being available on global platforms, where fans are still active.
The outlet made it even clearer that different standards between broadcasters and artists can lead to these kinds of things, especially when creative expression and rules come together.
As of the time of writing, there has been no sign that T.O.P plans to change or re-release any of the disqualified tracks for broadcast consideration.
