A long-time supporter of idol-turned-actress Krystal Jung has gone viral on the internet after venting frustrations on her seeming lack of progress in music and acting. The emotional post, written on an internet forum, has spread far and wide and has elicited a mixed reaction from netizens.

As Koreaboo reports, the supporter started by criticizing Krystal's stalled career trajectory after leaving idol life to pursue acting.

"If you want to have a stable career as an actress, then sign with an acting agency, film various projects, and grow your experience so that you can work in a bigger field, regardless of whether it is your style or not.."
The fan went on, encouraging Krystal to take more authority over her working life.

"If you want to have a stable career as a singer, then I beg you to find an agency that knows how to promote its artists and that releases good songs and albums often."
They proceeded to denounce what they termed the two-career indecisiveness of Krystal.

"To put it blatantly, it feels like you aren't either. You need to be able to have an eye for finding a good agency and part ways with the staff around you. If you have to move shops, you need to be able to make excuses and just move on."
The fan also bemoaned that she made few public appearances and promotions.

"I'm not saying you have to appear on all the YouTube channels other people appear on, but you could try appearing on even just a few of the shows for promotion purposes."
In a final comment, the fan conceded their choice to cease listening to Krystal's updates.

"From now on, I won't make the effort to search your name and find things about you until someone asks me if I have seen your new album or shows me a poster of a new movie that you are starring in."
The post resonated with many, as users on theqoo posted their own thoughts regarding the situation.
One of the commenters said, "Seems like she doesn't communicate with fans. Communication between fans and artists is important, but it can become a reason for leaving the fandom if they don't know the fans' needs." Another netizen chimed in, "Unstanning is the answer. It's not like they waited one or two years."
Others sympathized with both parties, stating, "I guess she isn't really into succeeding... But I understand the fan since there needs to be teamwork between the artist and the fans."
Krystal had recently released what is believed to be her very first solo album on her birthday, October 24, in what is a new era for her career which fans are hoping will rekindle her creative steam.
