Krystal shared a now-viral story about how her older sister Jessica became enraged with her when she unexpectedly threw a luxury handbag during filming.

The anecdote recirculated after Harper's Bazaar Korea featured the singer-actress in a new video exploring her evolving fashion sense.
On December 1, Harper's Bazaar Korea released a fashion timeline interview on their official YouTube channel that featured Krystal's style from childhood to her present career. With her fashion identity known for mixing chic sophistication with preppy elegance, Krystal reviewed photos from her childhood through her roles in television dramas.
Krystal's memory of her acting days: "I played a chaebol daughter who always had to be dressed in luxury brands, so I looked to Gossip Girl for references. I borrowed a luxury bag from my sister for filming, and of all scenes, it ended up being used in a scene where someone throws my bag onto the floor. My sister was so angry when she saw that scene."
According to the Koreaboo report, the bag in question was a red Chanel piece belonging to Jessica. At the time Krystal filmed The Heirs for SBS, her character frequently appeared with high-end fashion items. It seemed harmless at the time to borrow from her sister.

But then the bag was used in a pivotal scene involving Kim Woo Bin's character, who forcefully tossed it on the ground. Jessica, who loves her luxury handbags, reportedly was stunned and immediately upset upon seeing the episode.
Krystal explained that she did not know the bag would be treated roughly on set and the unexpected damage frustrated her older sister. These days, the incident is a funny memory between the two sisters, although people online expressed that Jessica's reaction was warranted.
The story drew interest not only because of its celebrity sibling dynamics but also for the nostalgia it brought on from "The Heirs," a drama that launched Krystal's acting career.
Fans noted that her detailed telling underlined both the actress's growth and the shared fashion legacy between sisters Jung.
Meanwhile, a viral post on theqoo from a longtime fan criticized Krystal Jung for her stalled career in both acting and music, urging her to find a stronger agency, take on more projects, and increase public promotions.
The post sparked debate, with some netizens agreeing that limited communication can weaken fan support, while others sympathized with Krystal. Despite the criticism, she recently released her first solo album on October 24, giving fans hope for a fresh start in her career.
