Kim Soo Hyun's fans have taken it upon themselves to defend their beloved star with an unusual approach: the launching of a fact-check webpage to put to rest allegations that have been surrounding the actor for nine months.

Per Daum, the site reportedly created in Notion by the "Kim Soo Hyun Korea & Global Fan Union" systematizes the timeline of the controversy, summarizes the key arguments, and updates the status of the ongoing legal proceedings. In the message on the page, fans stated, "Here are the facts we have verified and recorded. We ask you to see for yourselves and make your own judgment."

The controversy began earlier this year when the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute aired claims from the family of the late actress Kim Sae Ron that she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun while underage. The actor denied the allegations at a personal press conference. Both sides have since participated in ongoing civil and criminal proceedings.

Fans have also been actively involved in mobilization throughout the dispute. According to AllKpop, they filed mass lawsuits against hundreds of online commenters spreading false information around May, when public interest was at its highest.

Supporters also placed outdoor advertisements and rented theaters in both Asia and Europe for "Kim Soo Hyun screenings" to promote accurate information.

Commenting on the webpage, one fan said, "We wanted a single platform where everyone can verify the facts and avoid misinformation that spreads online." Another added, "This is about ensuring the truth is known, not just defending our favorite actor blindly."

Experts note that, while fan-driven campaigns are common in K-pop and Korean drama circles, the creation of a fact-checking platform represents a rare, highly organized form of advocacy. The page keeps being updated as the legal case develops, with new information.

But despite such efforts, opinion remains sharply divided: some praise fans for demanding transparency, but others warn that this kind of initiative could shape public perception before the conclusion of due process.
