Park Si-eun, an actress of South Korean origin, along with her fiancé Jin Tae-hyun, had announced earlier that they are not planning to have a second child, revealing their personal thoughts in the beginning of the new year.

The announcement was made through a message posted on Jin Tae-hyun's Instagram account on Jan. 1. In the opening of the post, he addressed followers directly, writing, "Hello, this is Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun. I hope you are all well. Good morning, New Year."
As reported by MHNSE, Jin explained that the decision followed years of consideration and emotional struggle. In the message, he stated, "My husband and I have decided to stop our dreams and hopes for a second child. Our Tae-eun was our only biological child."

He continued by explaining the significance of the child they lost, writing, "She was a child of a greater meaning than the miscarriage we often talk about. She was the very embodiment of gratitude for giving us the experience, memories, joy, and happiness of being full-term."
Jin further addressed the emotional weight behind the decision. Acknowledging the difficulty of moving forward, he wrote, "I know all too well that I need to let go and give up in order to make a new beginning. My heart is broken and hurts, but I think it's time to stop now," clearly confirming that there are no plans for another pregnancy.
According to Naver, Jin also expressed gratitude toward the many supporters who had reached out over the years. Reflecting on messages recommending hospitals, treatments and medication, he said, "I know only too well that the best God is the one in charge of life, so now life has lost its meaning other than the name of husband and wife. Now, I try not to call myself anything other than the woman I love, my beloved wife."
In closing his message, Jin emphasized the strength of their marriage. He wrote, "From the beginning, I have never lacked anything as long as I have my wife." He added, "I will cherish all the time we have spent working hard together for the past five years with gratitude. You all have worked hard to support and anticipate everything. Please support the two of us as we live beautifully now."
Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun married in 2015 and adopted a college-aged daughter, Park Da-bida, from an orphanage in Jeju Island that same year. They have also shared that they are fostering two additional daughters.
The couple previously announced a pregnancy in 2022 but suffered a miscarriage just 20 days before the due date, a loss that continues to shape their journey together.
