Actress Choi Yeo-jin has spoken openly about her decision to participate in a revealing underwear pictorial before getting married, explaining her mindset at the time during a recent YouTube appearance. Her comments were shared following the release of a video on the entertainment talk show "No Packku."
A video titled "Choi Yeo-jin, I'm Sorry (I Love My Body)" was uploaded Dec. 31 to the YouTube channel "Noppakutak Jae-hoon," where Choi appeared as a guest and discussed body image, self-care and personal motivation. During the conversation, host Tak Jae-hoon addressed a long-circulating rumor about her decision to do the pictorial.
As he brought up the speculation directly, Tak asked, "Before marriage, there was a rumor that you had a very pretty body but no man to show it to, so you did an underwear pictorial in a fit of anger." Choi responded with a smile and confirmed the story, saying, "That's right."
According to OSEN, Choi then elaborated on what led her to that decision. Reflecting on her feelings at the time, she explained, "I suddenly got angry when I realized that no one was watching me while I worked hard to look after myself, groom myself, and exercise."

She continued by questioning her own efforts, adding, "I wondered what was the point of taking care of myself like this. Underwear pictorials can be a bit awkward, but I wanted to leave a record of it while I had the chance."
Choi also shared context about her career at the time of the shoot, which took place when she was in her 30s. Addressing the types of offers she received, she said, "I've been getting a lot of offers for pictorials with a stripping concept," and added, "Even when I was modeling, there were a lot of swimsuit pictorials." She drew a clear boundary about the nature of such work by stating, "It's just an expression that stimulates the imagination."
During the interview, Choi was also asked about her confidence and what she values most about her physique. Answering candidly, she said, "I really cherish my butt." She then added with humor, "If I had to choose one, it would be my legs," prompting laughter from those present.
OSEN reported that Choi recently married businessman Kim Jae-wook in June, holding a private ceremony aboard a boat on the Bukhangang River in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. At the time of the marriage, several allegations circulated online, but all were later confirmed to be untrue.
