Park, who has been enjoying a 32-year-long acting career with iconic supporting roles in various K-dramas, guested on a recent episode of MBN's "Kim Joo Ha's Day & Night." On the show, she looked back on her acting career and how a temporary slowdown in her acting career in 2015 changed her life in ways she never anticipated.

In talking about that period in her life, Park said that she turned to music when she had less time for acting. "Back in 2015, I had almost no work, so I wrote my own songs and released an album. A reporter covered it—and that person is now my husband," she said. Koreaboo reported that the reporter who interviewed her at the time was five years younger and is now her husband.

Park went on to describe how the professional interaction quickly became personal. She recalled that the interview itself felt unusually comfortable, leading them to spend more time together outside of work.

"The interview was fun. We started having meals together, grew close like an older sister and younger brother, and then we got married," she said. According to Star Today, the actress emphasized how naturally the relationship progressed despite its rapid pace.

She then detailed the moment that marked a turning point in their relationship. "We'd eaten together about three times when I kissed him after drinking. I tend to get physically affectionate when I drink, and my husband just happened to be the one who got caught up in it," she said, prompting laughter in the studio.

Park also addressed her previously firm stance against marriage, explaining that her outlook had been shaped by past experiences. Reflecting on her earlier beliefs, she said, "I used to think, 'Why would I get married?' because men would only test the waters with me and never commit." She added that the relationship with her husband unfolded differently than anything she had experienced before.

Summing up the unexpected nature of her marriage, Park reiterated how quickly things fell into place. "But that's how fate turned out. We got married after going on just three dates," she said. Star Today noted that her candid remarks resonated with viewers, highlighting how chance encounters can lead to life-changing decisions.

Park Jun Myun's story has since drawn attention for its honesty and simplicity, offering a rare glimpse into how an unplanned meeting during a quiet career moment led to a lasting partnership.
