Kang Hye Jung, Lee Gyu Han Casted As Main Characters For ‘Marriage Plot’
According to tvN on the 27th, Kang Hye Jung will play a kimchi factory owner's second daughter, Yoo Gun Hee, while Lee Gyu Han takes on the role as Lee Kang Jae, a food company owner's son.
The drama plans to capture audiences by displaying a real, but comic interpretation of marriage plots and reversals between a man and a woman at the age of marriage.
Kang Hye Jung commented, "Yoo Gun Hee of 'Marriage Plot' is a smart, contemporary model of women, but on the other hand, a character who also finds herself struggling in outrageous situations. Up to this day, I have taken on many roles as the kind, pure character, so I think this is an opportunity to attempt something new."
Lee Gyu Han stated, "I feel a lot of pressure since this is my first main character role in a miniseries. I'm already nervous because of the director's order to make female viewers fall for me like Hyun Bin and Kim Dong Wook. However, I have a good feeling because Kang Hye Jung and I had great chemistry while script reading, and Director Lee Min Woo and the staff have been very helpful. I've been busy filming as both smart Kang Jae and immature Il Bong ('If Tomorrow Comes') but it's enjoyable."
Yoo Gun Hee and Lee Kang Jae's meeting through work and their quarreling romance while living together is planning to attract audiences. The drama will premiere on April 2nd and replace 'Shut Up Flower Boy Band."
