'Love Rain's male lead Jang Geun Suk promises to perform the shuffle dance in the middle of Myeongdong if the viewership for the drama goes over 40%.
On the 22nd, the press conference for KBS' new drama 'Love Rain' took place in Seoul's Lotte Hotel in the Crystal Ballroom. The producers made a statement that their goal is to pass 40% in viewership with the drama.
On this day, Jan Geun Suk was asked, "Because you are a popular performer, If 'Love Rain' passes the 40% viewership rate, what kind of performance can you promise your fans?" He answered with, "First passing a 40% viewership would be a dream. But if it were to happen, I will perform the shuffle dance in front of everyone in the middle of Myeongdong. I promise."
In the drama, Jang Geun Suk plays the character of Seo In Ha in the '70s and Seo Jun in 2012, taking on two roles just like fellow co-star, Girls' Generation Yoona.
The drama tells the story of two lovers in the '70s, Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee (played by Yoona). The drama also shows the love story between Seo In Ha's son Seo Joon and Kim Yoon Hee's daughter Ha Na (also played by Yoona).
