‘The Marriage Plot,’ First Episode Airing
On the 2nd, tvN’s new drama ‘The Marriage Plot’ caught viewers’ attentions with its unique plot and talented actors. The story is about a mother and the president of a kimchi factory coming up with a marriage plan for the mother’s four daughters.
The episode opens with Yoo Gun Hee (played by Kang Hye Jung) dreaming about beating up Lee Kang Jae (played by Lee Kyu Han). The dream shows Gun Hee chasing Kang Jae with a gun. The scene is full of explosives and even shows Lee Kyu Han’s impressive abs.
Kang Hye Jung comes back to the small screen after one year since she starred in the drama ‘Miss Ripley.’ She definitely brings her character to life with her uniquely expressive looks.
Lee Kyu Han plays the part of the sexist character Lee Kang Jae who believes that, “Women are the ones who stole the men’s responsibilities.” The character is a bit of an egotistic jerk in the work place and turns into an immature brat around his father.
