Lee Bum Soo Joins ‘Dr. Jin’ Cast

Actor Lee Bum Soo has joined the all-star lineup for MBC's new weekend drama 'Dr. Jin,' premiering on May 26.

'Dr. Jin,' remake of a Japanese cartoon by Murakami Motoka, is a unique medical drama of 2012 Korea's best doctor who transcends time and space to 1860 Chosun dynasty.

Korean Wave star Song Seung Hun is the genius doctor who travels 150 years in time, while JYJ's Kim Jae Joong takes on his first historical drama as Chosun's best military officer.

Lee Bum Soo has also been casted in the drama as Chosun's leader Lee Ha Eung to create a fantastic dream lineup along with Song Seung Hun and Kim Jae Joong.

Lee Bum Soo revealed, "The synopsis captivated me in an instant. I'm nervous and excited because this will be my first attempt at a historical drama since my debut."
