‘Neighbor’ Teaser Trailer Released

The teaser trailer for the upcoming movie 'Neighbor', based on webcomic artist Kang Pool's webtoon of the same title, was released on June 13th.

The teaser, which begins with a drenched schoolgirl trudging up a flight of stairs, instantly seizes the viewer's attention in a suspenseful way. A caption reading, "A dead girl has been coming home every day for a week" follows, and the frightening image of the dead daughter and her mother, as well as the terror of the neighborhood at the fact that a serial killer may be living among them, together create a preview of the horror the movie has in store for the audience this summer.

Combining an original work by the famous Kang Pool with a "100% synchronized" casting comprising of some of the hottest actors in Korea, the teaser has been the focus of much discussion and attention. 'Seven Days' and 'Harmony' world-class star Kim Yoon Jin is expected to only add to the quality and suspense of the movie with her acting as the mother of the daughter killed by the serial killer, haunted by the nightly return of her dead child.

In addition, Kim Sae Ron, the child actor playing the role of the dead daughter Yuh Sun, as well as another child Soo Hyeon, once again solidified her reputation as an acting prodigy with her ability to play roles that are 180 degrees from each other. Actors Ma Dong Suk, Kim Sung Kyoon, Im Ha Ryong, Jang Young Nam and Chun Ho Jin also added to the appeal of the movie with their short but impressive appearances in the trailer, heightening expectations for fans.

'Neighbor', with the frightening premise that a serial killer is living in the neighborhood and a well-written story featuring the nation's trendiest actors, is set to open nationwide this summer.
