"There's some pretty intense detective stuff going on," Brett Dier, who plays Michael, teased fans via TVLine. "It's pretty insane. I can't give away much, but they go pretty intense into that investigation and some crazy things happen."
Apparently, The Man Without A Face's identity will be shocking. Even the cast were left with gaping mouths when they found out during script reading.
Dier added, "I couldn't believe it. I didn't see it coming. You never really can in this show. I'm excited for people to see it."
Jaime Camil, who plays Jane's father, Rogelio, said that fans are "going to be super surprised" about the big reveal.
"[At the table read], we were like, 'What?! Oh my God, holy sh-," he shared.
TVLine added that Sin Rostro will be someone that viewers have already met but the twist will still be very surprising.
The publication added, in their "Jane The Virgin" season 1 spoilers, that Sin Rostro will be revealed later on in episode 13.
In the meantime, episode 9 will have Jane and Rafael reunited after a sudden trip to Mexico prevented them from having their second date. What does Petra have to do with his father's decision to send him there?
Rafael's business in Mexico is still a mystery but according to the episode 9 trailer, that won't be Jane's main problem. She will finally be telling her new boyfriend the three words that would make or break their relationship - and no, she won't be telling him "I love you" but more along the lines of "I'm a virgin."
How will Rafael react when Jane tells him that she's actually a virgin? Will the former playboy believe his pregnant new girlfriend?
