Jung Suk Won Will Lead Movie “Battle of Yeonpyeong”

Actor Jung Suk Won has cast in the movie “Battle of Yeonpyeong”.

The actor's agency Forestar revealed that the actor was confirmed to act in the military movie. They stated “He will start filming in February, after he completes the recordings for "The Laws of the Jungle".”

An official from the movie said “We thought that Jung Suk Won was perfect for the role. He has the body and the experience from having been a marine himself. We feel he will fit right into the character because he have been into combat.”

“Battle of Yeonpyeong” will be about the battle between North and South Korea that happened in 2002 when North Korean ships crossed the Northern Limit Line and attacked South Koreans boats causing 4 casualties. He will play Major Yoon Young Ha a very strong and dedicated soldier.

As mentioned before, the drama shooting will begin on February and the movie will aim for a release in late 2013.
