Lee Jong Hyun And Gong Seung Yeon May Meet In Japan For 'We Got Married' Episode
"We Got Married" fans are looking forward to the upcoming virtual marriage between CNBLUE's Lee Jong Hyun and his virtual spouse Gong Seung Yeon.
The couple filmed their first episode of the reality show on March 2 and viewers can expect to see that episode on March 14.
One Korean media outlet reported that the couple will film another installment of "We Got Married" in Japan next week, but according to FNC Entertainment, the filming situation is still under discussion. On March 5 FNC told Newsen that Lee Jong Hyun was in Japan because of CNBLUE.
"Lee Jong Hyun will be fulfilling schedules with CNBLUE in Japan next week," said the FNC representative. "We are currently discussing whether or not Gong Seung Yeon will go to Japan to film 'We Got Married.' The shoot has not yet been confirmed."
According to reports the stars chose each other from various celebrity candidates that also included singer Henry Lau and former Jewelry member and actress Kim Ye Won.
Henry Lau and Kim Ye Won have been paired as the other "We Got Married" couple for this season.
Gong Seung Yeon is a former SM Entertainment trainee, who debuted as an actress in the 2012 drama "I Love Lee Tae Ri." She also had a small role in the drama "My Lovely Girl," which starred Bi Rain and f(x) member Krystal Jung. Gog Seung Yeon played Seo Yoon Ji. The actress also appears in the new drama "Heard It Through The Grapevine," starring Lee Joon and Go Ah Sung. In that drama she plays Go Ah Sung's older sister, a would-be newscaster from a poor family.
Lee Jong Hyun made his acting debut in 210 when he took a role in the film "Kino Eye." Since then CNBLUE's lead guitarist and vocalist has had some more drama exposure. He had a role in "A Gentleman's Dignity" and cameo roles in a drama special and a web drama. He also played himself in the tvN reality show "Cheomdamdong 111."
"We Got Married" has been on the air since 2008 and has included appearance by actors such as Shin Sung Rok, Lee Si Young, CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa, Jeong Yu Mi, Lee Joon and Jo Yoon Hee.
The most popular recent episodes featured a virtual marriage between actors Song Jae Rim and Kim So Eun.
