Seo Kang Joon Becomes The First Virtual Boyfriend

What do you think about dating actor Seo Kang Joon? Would you like to know more about his dating likes and dislikes? If that possibility previously seemed likely only in your dreams, you may want to check out the latest episodes of a virtual dating program.

The 21-year-old star of "Cunning Single Lady" and "What's Up With This family" is about to become a virtual boyfriend.  According to his management agency Fantagio, Seo Kang Joon will become the first virtual boyfriend on the program "Dating Alone."

And his agency says the show will give the actor a new chance to prove just how charming he is.

"Seo Kang Joon will show his special charms to make women's hearts flutter," said the Fantagio representative.

The JTBC program sends celebrities and guests on virtual dates and has so far featured female k-celebs such as A Pink's Eun Ji, Girls Generation's Yuri and EXID's Hani. Although the focus has been on female celebrities, there have been attractive male k-celeb guests, including 2AM's Jin Won and GOT7's Jackson.  The show's format will not change even though the roles are reversed.

For the first show featuring a male celebrity, there will be a female guest, namely former virtual girlfriend and Girls Generation member Yuri. When she appeared as a guest on the program, GOT7's jackon, Cross Gene's Shin, host Kim Min Jong and Jun Hyun Moo all tried to figure out if they were a good match for her but she confused them with her reactions. Kim Min Jong won the most points.

Seo Kang Joon and Yuri will be featured on the March 28 episode of the show. The first recording of the program featuring Seo took place on March 11.

Yuri will sit in a booth with a monitor and experience what it would be like to go on an actual date with Seo Kang Joon. Through the virtual interactions, guests can try to understand the psychology of the person who appears as the virtual girlfriend or boyfriend. And viewers can learn more about the celebrity.

The program airs at 11 p.m. on Saturdays. The episodes with Seo Kang Joon will be shown through March and in early April.

In 2014 Seo Kang Joon appeared in the film "My Love, My Bride." In 2015 he has a role in the film "Splendid Politics." He is a member of the five-man actor idol group 5urprise.
