Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 Featuring 6-Inch Display, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 8MP Camera Now Available Online; Check Out The Price, Specs And Complete Features!
Further expanding its Doodle series, Micromax has launched a new smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 for the budget conscious buyers.
Micromax recently introduced a new smartphone to its budget Android line-up, the Micromax Bolt Q335 and on Friday, May 29 the popular Indian phone manufacturer launched the Canvas Doodle 4, priced at Rs. 9,499 (about $149).
The new smartphone was listed on a third party e-commerce website eBay at a price of Rs. 9,199 (about $144), and now it is also available at major retail stores across India in its White color variant.
The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone is a successor to 2014's Canvas Doodle 3 and it runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The smartphone features a 6-inch IPS display with a qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution, according to records on NDTV Gadgets.
Canvas Doodle 4 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MTK6582M) processor paired with 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microD card. It sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash. There is a secondary 2MP fixed-focus front camera also on board. The smartphone measures 165.5x85.3x8.5mm and packs a 3000mAh battery.
It also includes proximity sensors, gravity, and ambient light.
As far the connectivity is concerned, Times of India noted that the Canvas Doodle 4 is capable of accessing internet via 3GWi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth v3.0.
The smartphone not only features Skitch, but also gives the users Premium Subscription to Evernote absolutely free. Other preloaded apps include NewsHunt, Hotstar, Quickr, Snapdeal, App Center, Chaatz, and Clean Master.
Although there is no confirmation yet, just like the previous Doodle series, Canvas Doodle 4 too is expected to include a stylus. The smartphone offers a creative platform to the users enabling them to express themselves in a fun way along with enhancing their experience.
