'Castle' Season 8 Spoilers: Beckett And Castle Having A Baby To Save Marriage? New Plot To Increase ABC Series Ratings?

"Castle" season 8 spoilers revealed that fans of Beckett and Castle will be delighted to hear that a baby Casket may be on the way.

According to "Castle" season 8 spoilers from Vine Report, several sources have speculated that Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) and Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) will be welcoming a new addition to their family soon.

Carter Matt pointed out that the baby storyline is not a new concept, given that the couple has touched on the subject in the episode titled "The Good, the Bad and the Baby." This is the episode where Beckett realized that she's actually capable of being a good mom, if she set her heart to it.

The website held that it would be a good idea for Beckett and Castle to finally have a baby, saying that it could pave the way for funnier scenes. It was, however, pointed out that the baby could only complicate things.

Meanwhile, the "Castle" show producers remained tight lipped when asked about what fans can expect come season 8.

Speaking to TV Line, executive producer Alexi Hawley shared that there is still no concrete plans on how the story line would progress from season 7. However, they were definitely thinking of creating more episodes that revolves around Castle and Beckett's relationship.  

"At this point, we haven't even sat down and talked about it yet," he said. 

"Fundamentally, Beckett and Castle's relationship has room to have movement in it. So for me - and I can't speak for Terence [Winter] - we're just excited to go in there and see what the future holds."

Hawley revealed that he, along with the other writers, is just happy that they do not need to come up with an arc without Stana Katic's character, Beckett.

"There's always a Plan B but it would've been a fundamentally different show, and that would've been quite a mountain to climb."
