KDramastars has teamed up with the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) to give away three pairs of tickets for the critically acclaimed arthouse film, "Coin Locker Girl," which will screen on Saturday, July 11 at the SVA Theater. "Coin Locker Girl" is a thrilling psychological film starring Kim Hye Soo, Kim Go Eun and Park Bo Gum.
Kim Go Eun (A Muse, Monster) stars as Il Young, a woman who was abandoned in a coin locker when she was an infant. She is discovered by a poor person who names her and raises her until she is 10-years-old, before selling her to a notorious criminal known as Mother. Kim Hye Soo portrays Mother, a ruthless loan shark and organ trafficker who raises Il Young with the intent of executing a diabolical plan.
When Il Young turns 18, she is tasked with befriending the son of a man who owes a large debt to Mother. Park Bo Bum (Tomorrow's Cantabile) is Park Suk Hyun, the innocent teenager that Il Young befriends. Il Young is ordered to kill Suk Hyun but refuses because she has fallen in love with him.
