Oppo R7 Plus And R7 Lite Officially Launched In Malaysia; Check Out Full Specs, Features And Price!

The long wait is finally over as the Oppo R7 Plus and the Oppo R7 Lite will soon be coming to Malaysian shores.

As far as design is concerned, both the Oppo R7 Plus and the Oppo R7 Lite look quite similar, in the chassis design and down to the curved screen. Moreover, both the devices are fitted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, a 13 mega pixel rear shooter, 8 mega pixel front shooter.

Plus, both the devices come installed with the ColorOS 2.1 on top of the original Android 5.1 operating system, according to records on Stuff.

Oppo Malaysia seem to have added the phablet R7 Plus and R7 Lite to their line-up just in time for smartphone users who are looking to either upgrade or switch smartphones in celebrating Hari Raya.

According to NewStraitsTimesOnline, they are priced at RM1, 998 and RM1, 298 respectively (GST Included).

Besides its mammoth 6-inch screen, the highlight of the R7 Plus is its longer lasting 4100mAh battery, faster charging VOOC flash charge, octa-core 1.5 GHz processor, and 3GB RAM. Both support dual-SIM but only the Lite supports both nano as well as microSIMs, while the Plus only supports nano SIM.

Katrina Li, Oppo's overseas brand director noted that the company chose to bring in the Plus and Lite models for their broader market appeal. As of now, there are no plans for the standard R7 model.

The Plus will only come in gold, and the Lite has an additional silver variant. Currently there are no plans for any other color variants.

The devices are now available for pre-order at Oppo Concept Stores as well as their 100 dealers nationwide.
