Bae Yong Joon and Park Soo Jin are now officially man and wife. The couple was married at a private ceremony at 6 p.m. on July 27 at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel.

Park Jin Young, CEO of JPY, sang at the wedding, as did The One and Shin Yong Jae of 4men.

A few hours before the wedding, Bae Yong Joon posted a romantic photo on Instagram. It showed the couple in a garden surrounded by flickering lanterns. Bae was kneeling, as if proposing, and looking up at his bride. Park Soo Jin looked slender and elegant in her wedding dress.

Bae wrote, "My heart is nervous and fluttering. I seek your blessings for me as my family always gives me strength. I am sorry that I cannot share this moment with you but I will always remember the love you taught me and become a good head of household. I will often let you know we are doing well. Thank you. I hope everyone is always happy."

It is the first wedding for both Bae, 42, and Park, 29. The couple met when she signed on to Key East in 2014. Bae Yong Joon is the largest shareholder in Key East Entertainment, the agency that also represents Park Soo Jin. According to the news outlet Channel News Asia, his shares are worth over $100 million.

Bae and Park dated for three months before announcing their engagement in May and originally planned a September wedding. An announcement that the wedding date was moved up came as a surprise. The couple denied that that date had been moved up because it was a shotgun wedding and threatened to prosecute anyone spreading those rumors.

According to the Korean media outlet Korea Herald, hundreds of fans waited in the rain outside the event hoping to catch sight of Bae Yong Joon, who became an international star after appearing in "Winter Sonata." He has many devoted fans in Japan, where he is known as Yonsama. His last drama appearance was in a short role, playing a teacher in "Dream High."

Park Soo Jin debuted in the girl group Sugar with Hwang Jung Eum. The actress recently appeared in the dramas "Flower Boys Next Door" and "The Blade and the Petal." For the past five years she has served as the host of "Tasty Road," a show about trendy restaurants.

Park's friends Kim Sung Eun, Wang Ji Hye and Lee Yeon Doo were bridesmaids at the wedding.
