Lee Seung Gi Makes Marriage Plans

Lee Seung Gi is always happy to talk about his marriage plans and he has lots of thoughts on the subject. The singer/actor, who stars in "Gu Family Book," has discussed his plans several times and stated previously that he would be okay with marrying another celebrity.

When the subject of celebrities and publicly dating was raised at a recent press conference, he said he was envious of being able to proclaim that you liked someone and envious of some celebrity couples he knew. He even mentioned a marriage he admired, that of Yoo Dong Geum, another actor in "Gu Family Book."

 "Later, when there's a person I want to marry, I hope that she will be older like Jeon In Hwa, Yoo Dong Geum's wife," said Lee.  It would be great if she could continue to look so beautiful and be so cool. I think it's good to be a celebrity couple. I don't think it's a bad idea."

In general, Lee Seung Gi seems to think its cool to marry an older woman. He once expressed his admiration for Japanese actor Kimura Takuya, who confessed publicly that he would marry a woman older than himself. Many feared the marriage would end his career but they were wrong. Lee was impressed by the actor's bravery and said he would be as bold if the situation called for it.

But the actor, who admits to never having a girlfriend, does not have a marriage partner in mind. He believes in love at first sight but so far it has not happened.

"If I ever do fall in love, I will jump right in and not be afraid," said Lee.

He's not planning to marry until he is in his 30s. But he does want to have a few children.

"I'm thinking of having more than three children," said Lee. "At first I thought two would be enough. But I have a younger sister and now that I'm older, I think the more siblings the better. Families with three or four siblings look happier."

He will probably be good at marriage because his co-stars say he is careful about controlling his emotions and avoids making problems. He also boosts the mood on set with his normally happy nature. And he should have no problem getting his marriage approved by his prospective mother-in-law.  Not only is he a successful actor, appearing in the popular drama, "Gu Family Book," he is very likable. He is the kind of boyfriend mothers approve of.
