The courtroom drama "I Hear Your Voice" continues to rule the ratings in its time slot, having reached an impressive 23 percent of the viewers this week. With the latest revelation of life-altering secrets, a heartbreaking trial, the bond being tested between Park Soo Ha and Jang Hye Sung and letters arriving from the murderer Min Joon Guk, the plot continues to evolve in interesting ways.

Almost from the beginning it seemed as if nothing could slow down this successful drama. The impressive viewer ratings resulted in the addition of two more episodes. The only problem that has plagued "I Hear Your Voice" is an accusation that two episodes in the drama were stolen from a novel.

That accusation only involves one murder case that was defended by Lee Bo Young's character Jang Hye Sung. It was the case involving twins, both of whom said the other twin committed the murder.

The publisher of the book "The Proof of the Devil," written by Do Jin Gi, said that the case was copied from one that was featured in this book.

The drama's producer RDM Media said the accusation had no merit. All the cases featured in "I Hear Your Voice" are based on actual court cases. Also, the twin murder case was solved differently in the drama than it was in the book. Then there is the question of what came first. The drama was written before the novel was published. And it's not the only court case that ever involved twins or two people claiming the other person committed a murder. Crimes involving twins are common in novels. RDM Media threatened to take legal action against the publisher for what they considered a false accusation.

SBS also released a statement to deny the accusation.

"The novel and 'I Hear Your Voice' only share the fact that twins appear in them. The incidents are completely different," said a representative for SBS.

The publisher of the book requested an apology and also asked that Do Jin Gi's name and the name of the novel be featured in the drama credits. No legal action has been taken and neither the production company nor SBS has made any further statement based on those requests.

The show continues to attract viewers. In the same time slot that "I Hear Your Voice" earned 23 percent of the viewers, the MBC drama about a tyrannical teacher earned 7.2 percent and the KBS saeguk "Blade and Petal earned 7.2 percent.
