Son Ye Jin: "Accomplice Script Gave Me Chills"

Actress Son Ye Jin shared the reason why she decided to film "Accomplice."

Son Ye Jin said she liked the scenario's idea and decided to film the movie during the press release of "Accomplice" held in CGV movie theater in Seoul last week.

Son Ye Jin said, "I play Da Eun, a daughter who suspects her own father as the person behind the kidnapping crime." This role of presenting mixed feelings toward her own father is quite different from her previous, lovable roles on romantic comedy movies.

Son Ye Jin said, "I picked this film because of the scenario's unconventional idea. Apart from the perpetrator or the victim, the scenario asks the question, 'What is the criminal is the person who needs to live the most?' Unlike the perpetrators and victims on the news, which never seem personal, I liked this chilling idea of a criminal in one's family."

"Accomplice" is a story of Da Eun, who suspects her own father as a criminal behind the kidnapping crime that received the public's attention right before the expiration of its status of limitations.
