A Traffic Light Will Be Installed Where The Actor Jung Won-joong Caused An Accident

On November 6th, the construction started at the spot where the accident occurred. A crash that took away a motorcyclist's life. The intersection was a buzzing concern for many as it became a high-risk place due to the newly opened supermarket that drew more traffic to the street. 

According to police, Jung's car, which was turning left at the intersection on October 22nd, hit a motorcycle from the opposite direction, killing the seventeen-year-old motorcyclist. Police studied the case and reached the conclusion that Jung did not see the motorcycle.

Traffic accidents have increased since the opening of the supermarket, but there was no traffic light. The installation was indefinitely delayed because of the disagreement that the supermarket and the police had over the cost of the construction.

In the end, after the incident broke out, they started working on the traffic lights. A construction official told the media, "We are currently working on the construction of a crosswalk at the bottom of the intersection." Police officials also said, "We are also working on the installation of traffic lights which will be finished next week." 

The police are currently investigating Jung Won-joong for violating the traffic accident special case law. In the middle of the accident, the court will secure CCTV images and Won-joong's black box to determine the exact situation. 

KBS 2TV weekend drama "Love is Beautiful, Life is Wonderful", which Jung Won-joong partakes in, did not make any comment on whether the actor would continue to with the series.
