Kim Soo Hyun's agency has issued a new official statement following recent developments in the actor's ongoing controversy involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron.
Per Koreaboo, on Tuesday Gold Medalist released a statement addressing allegations and evidence that had circulated online over the past year, as well as the legal actions connected to the case. The agency's comments came shortly after reports emerged that an arrest warrant had been issued for Kim Se Ui of the controversial YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute.
According to the agency, authorities determined that certain materials used to raise suspicions against Kim had been fabricated or manipulated.
"The deceased's KakaoTalk conversations made public were revealed to be forged and altered conversations with unrelated third parties, and the deceased's voice was confirmed to be manipulated material generated using AI technology," Gold Medalist stated.

The agency further claimed that investigators and the court recognized the seriousness of several alleged offenses tied to the spread of the materials. Those charges reportedly include defamation through false information under South Korea's information network laws, violations related to stalking crimes, violations of sexual violence crime statutes involving the distribution of illegally filmed materials, and threats.
Gold Medalist expressed gratitude toward investigative authorities for what it described as efforts to establish the truth through objective evidence.
According to OSEN, The statement also revisited Kim Soo Hyun's emotional press conference from one year earlier, when the actor publicly denied accusations that he had dated Kim Sae Ron while she was still a minor.
"At the press conference a year ago, Kim Soo Hyun promised, 'I will not ask you to believe me, but I will prove it,'" the agency said. "The past year for Kim Soo Hyun was solely spent fulfilling that promise." The agency concluded by thanking fans and supporters who continued to stand by the actor during the controversy.
Kim Soo Hyun became embroiled in controversy after allegations surfaced claiming he had been romantically involved with Kim Sae Ron during her underage years. The actor acknowledged that the two had dated in the past but firmly denied claims that the relationship began while she was a minor.
