Shin Hye Sun Seeks the Truth as seen in the stills of the Poster released For Her First Starring Role In A Film.

The actress first debuted her acting skills through the TV drama "School" in 2013 which is an installment of the long-running School series, after successfully passing the audition to cast a few schoolgirl roles. In the drama "School" she portrayed a minor character having the same name as hers.

Shin Hye-sun eventually began to take on bigger roles in 2015 with dramas "Oh My Ghost" and "She Was Pretty". Her characters varied significantly in these dramas although both titles were romantic comedies.

In the year 2016, she received her breakthrough with the series "Five Enough". Her role in this drama as a gullible, naively-romantic woman including her pairing with actor Sung Hoon gained popularity among the viewers. She also starred in the fantasy romance drama as supporting actress in The Legend of the Blue Sea in the same year.

The upcoming film titled "Innocence" is actually Shin Hye Sun's first time in a starring role in a feature film. She formerly appeared in short films with small parts in "A Violent Prosecutor" and "A Day." Currently, Shin Hye Sun is more known for her roles in dramas, most recently "My Golden Life," "Thirty But Seventeen," and "Angel's Last Mission: Love."

"Innocence" centers its story on Jung In who is a lawyer portrayed by Shin Hye Sun that is trying her best to prove her mother's innocence and uncover the secrets of a small village with the help of the local mayor played by Heo Jun Ho. Jung In's mother, Hwa Ja portrayed by actress Bae Jong Ok was falsely accused of murder after the rice wine was poisoned at her husband's funeral. The poor lady is suffering from memory loss and cannot be able to defend herself. This film is also Hong Kyung his first screen role portraying as Ahn Jung Soo the younger brother of Jung In who has an autistic spectrum disability. Hong Kyung's character in the drama will play a key role in uncovering the truth behind their mother being framed for murder.

Actor Tae Hang Ho is also part of the cast plays Jung In's former classmate named Yang Wang Yong. Being a police officer, Yang Wang Yong will help Jung In in her journey to uncover the hidden secrets of her hometown. Tae Hang Ho showed off unique chemistry with Shin Hye Sun during their audition together

To complete the cast by playing local villagers in the drama are Go Chang Suk and Park Chul Min.

Go Chang Suk's character will portray as Jung In's relative and explains why the villagers treated Jung In's family with coldness. Park Chul Min, on the other hand, plays a mysterious character who is somehow connected to all the villagers and their secrets that will aid Jung In with her mission to uncover the truth.

"Innocence" is scheduled to premiere on March 5 in South Korea.
