Parasite To Be Remade As An HBO Mini-series + Tilda Swinton To Play One Of The Lead Female Roles
British actress Tilda Swinton is in talks of joining forces with director Bong Joon Ho for the third time on his upcoming HBO adaptation of "Parasite!"
Last January, it was announced that Director Bong Joon Ho was rumored to produce a limited series based on "Parasite" for HBO alongside Hollywood director Adam McKay, but even though Bong Joon Ho has expressed some of his ideas for the planned upcoming project, it still has not been confirmed whether the HBO mini-series would be a remake of the award-winning film or will just be a spin-off.
But this February 13 KST, the Illuminerdi released a report of some unconfirmed details about the HBO adaptation. In which it claims that it will be a six-part mini-series. Based on the reports, the mini-series will be created as an English-language version of "Parasite" and will star the famous British actress Tilda Swinton who is currently in talks as the female lead.
If these reports are true then the HBO upcoming mini-series would be Tilda Swinton's third time working together with Bong Joon Ho. The famous actress formerly starred in his 2013 film "Snowpiercer" and also his 2017 movie "Okja."
Meanwhile, American actor Mark Ruffalo had been offered the male lead in the film's adaptation according to the Illuminerdi.
