The upcoming film "Call" released its first trailer, and viewers are terrified!
Park Shin Hye returns to the big screen after 3 years of hiatus. She described her movie to be the most tensing and fiercest1 project she has ever done since the debut of her career.
In a press conference held in Seol on Monday, she said "There are stories that trigger my imagination as I continue to read the script. It made me wonder if how does that imaginations would look like once the story is actualized on the set."
Park Shin Hye shared why she chose the film "I chose this project because of my high expectations for our director. I also noticed the change in Seo Yeon's emotions as she goes through turbulent situations and I found it very appealing to me. I hope to show you all the different sides of me through Seo Yeon, my character."
She admitted to even experiencing goosebumps just reading the script.
The lead actresses Park Shin Hye and Jeon Jong Seo portray two women living in separate years but are connected through a call.
Park Shin Hye will play Seo Yeon's character. She will be the woman in the present time, in 2019. While, Jeon Jong Seo plays Young Sook who is from a decade back, the year 1999.
The trailer showed that the two women seemed off when they realized that they are in the same place but at different times.
The trailer ended with Jeon Jong Seo saying "They say a person's life can change just because of some insignificant thing like this." Leaving Park Shin Hye sitting alone being frightened by the sound of the phone ringing.
Jeon Jong Seo also said that she is looking forward to the film and it is a great opportunity for her to work with veteran actors and actresses, also the staff. Given her new character, she ended up saying that she will do her best to show the viewers the new side of her through this film.
Other stars will be appearing in the movie including the Veteran actress Kim Sung-kyung that will play as Seo-Yeon's mother who struggled to find Seo-Yeon after she suddenly disappeared.
Kim said in the conference that this project will be her third time to work with the famous actress Parl Shin Hye, after the dramas "You're beautiful" and "Heirs".
She also added that this will be the first-ever film that they will play as mother and daughter, mentioning Park Shin Hye as a person that has always been like a daughter to her eyes.
Kims had a pleasant time with her co-actresses on the set and that even though the movie is scary the shooting itself was all laughter and fun!
