Web Series 'XX' Characters on a Quest to Fix Broken Friendship

The short but fully-packed web series 'XX' has been stirring up various reactions from the growing audience because of its intriguing content. Each episode, around 25 minutes, can be streamed on YouTube, Naver TV, Facebook, and V Live. 

Mainly set in a bar where the four main characters work. Yoon Na Na, played by EXID's Hani, is a well-known head bartender at the XX bar. The place is a mysterious one as taking exposure to social media is not allowed. She, however, doesn't participate in arranging the interior of the bar and choosing the menu items. Na Na has her own ambition of opening her own bar in the future.

Conflicts arise when the new owner of the bar was revealed to be her ex-best friend Lee Roo Mi (Hwang Seung Eon). The broke off their friendship five years ago after Na Na's ex-boyfriend cheated on her with Roo Mi.  Acquiring the ownership of XX is presumably her initial step to make up with her former best friend, but it's not easy.

Na Na's love interest is Park Dan Hee (Bae In Hyuk) who has been working with her at the bar for two years. His feelings for the head bartender have been long overdue as he still looks for a good time to tell her how he feels. Wang Jung Deun (Lee Jong Won), another character, is Na Na's gay friend who've had each other's back throughout the drama.

'XX' drama also delves into a deeper content as it discusses a person's health struggles and mental well-being. Roo Mi, for instance, shows an erratic behavior as her defense to hide the pains she went through in life. Her journey comes with a hardship in dealing with her family and friends.

On February 11, 'XX' reached its zenith after hitting staggering 7.5 million views on V Live.
