Actress Son Ye Jin is reportedly positively reviewing her appearance in the upcoming film "The Cross" by Andrew Niccol, who wrote the screenplay for the movie "The Truman Show" and directed "Gattaca" and "The Host."

Her agency, MS Team Entertainment, announced on July 6, "Son Ye Jin received a proposal to appear in the movie 'The Cross' and is positively reviewing it."

"The Cross" is a film about people between poor and rich countries in the background of a fictional multi-racial future divided country.

In this film, Son Ye Jin plays the role of the female protagonist, Vera, in English. As she has been preparing to advance into Hollywood for a long time, her efforts will shine. Son Ye Jin's counterpart is Sam Washington from film "Avatar."

This year's tvN drama starring Son Ye Jin, "Crash Landing on You," has been popular among overseas viewers after it was released to the world through Netflix. It is said that there are several overseas advertisements that were taken after the drama as well.

"The Cross" is preparing to shoot in Korea next March. It is known that director Andrew Niccol visited Korea last year and was inspired by the upcoming movie, and expressed his willingness to work with Korean actors.
