Choi Jin Hyuk is One Groovy and Hungry Zombie in New Drama "Zombie Detective"
KBS2 TV has released a few snippets of the next episode of the drama! Choi Jin Hyuk performs a zombie dance looking so scary yet funny in the second episode of drama "Zombie Detective."
"Zombie Detective" is a thrilling comedy-drama that tells the story of a man who has turned into a zombie for the past two years. He made himself a detective trying to uncover the truth about his past.
Choi Jin Hyuk portrays the character of Kim Moo Young, who is trying his best survive as he struggles to adjust to his new life as a zombie and trying to coexist with humans, following the mannerisms of humans in a village. He then transferred to a city and opened his own office to work as a private detective. Kim Moo Young's memory was erased when he transformed into a zombie and wants to regain his memory back.
On the other hand, Park Joo Hyun portrays the character of Gong Seon Ji, a former writer of an investigative journalism program. She is very optimistic with a sense of justice. While she was working on a case, a witness was attacked by an unknown man causing her to quit her job. She meets Kim Moo Young and takes a part-time job at his private detective office.

In the first episode released, we have seen how Kim Moo Young woke up like a zombie at a medical waste landfill. He was able to run into Gong Seon Ji and was surprised by his involuntary cravings for meat. He was tempted, but he was able to resist taking a bite out of Gong Seon Ji. Instead, he decided to feast on a beef tripe hot pot.
In the following episode, the zombie Kim Moo Young will find a new restaurant that sells his beef tripe hot pot. As seen in the just-released photos of the drama, Kim Moo Young has his eye on the food, staring at it hungrily.
Slowly, he went towards the sign and cautiously waits for his chance to grab the beef tripe hot pot. With his hunger and desperation for food, he accidentally blends into a group of part-time workers wearing their costumes as zombies and dances along with them showing his "thriller" dance moves.
The production team once shared that this drama will be very interesting to look at a unique zombie and human chemistry. The actors who are perfectly immersed in their respective characters.
