Actress Park Sun Young denied the rumors and controversy that links her to spilling cooking oil in a parking space, which resulted in some tenants' injuries.

The media recently reported that a certain celebrity they call "A" accidentally spilled cooking oil in the underground parking lot of a well-known apartment located in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. She reportedly ignored the spilled oil, causing some accidents and injuring the residents in the said apartment.

According to the media reports, the residents who acquired some injuries had to get medical treatments for 6 weeks due to a broken bone. Celebrity "A" was investigated for negligence due to not cleaning up the oil. The rumored celebrity "A" hired four lawyers to defend her and claimed that she is innocent. She stated that, after coming back home, she wiped the accident oil spill with a kitchen towel. The celebrity claimed that the poor management and carelessness of the apartment staff should be blamed.

The assigned judge to the case declared that "It is out of common sense to leave it without taking measures such as taking it away even though oil may leak out." Despite the defense of "A," she was still fined with 5 million won for her negligence. Although the real identity of "A" was not revealed, rumors have been circulating that the person behind "A" is actually actress Park Seon Young. Her name has been linked to the issue since the reports went out.
