South Korean actor Lee Dong Gun is reportedly in a relationship with actress Kang Hae Rim, according to a new exclusive by SPOTV News.

The report, published Wednesday, alleges the 43-year-old actor has been dating the 27-year-old actress, marking his first public relationship since his 2020 divorce from actress Jo Yoon Hee.

SPOTV News claims the couple has been spotted together multiple times in the Gangnam area of Seoul, with witnesses observing Lee displaying public affection — placing his hand on Kang's waist and shoulder, and walking hand-in-hand.

The outlet described the relationship as an "open secret" within the entertainment industry, with some insiders already aware of the romance.

Representatives for both parties responded cautiously to the report.
"It's a private matter and so it's difficult to confirm," a spokesperson from Lee Dong Gun's agency, WPLUS, told SPOTV.

Kang Hae Rim's agency, Andmarq, offered a similar statement: "We cannot confirm anything."

Lee, known for his roles in dramas such as Lovers in Paris and Marry Him If You Dare, has largely stayed out of the public eye since his separation.

Kang, a rising star, most recently gained recognition for her role in The Secret Romantic Guesthouse.

Neither agency has commented further on the matter as of Thursday.
