In a past episode of KBS2's "Happy Together" that aired last 2019, Kim So Yeon was one of their special guests. During the conversation with MC Jun Hyun Moo, the actress was asked about her dating life with her then-boyfriend and now husband, actor Lee Sang Woo. She was specifically asked about how she used to date him in public secretly.

Kim So Yeon shared that they would start their date at 7 in the morning and would go to a 24-hour restaurant where customers are usually taxi drivers who eat their breakfast.
