We finished 2020 with a lot of memories and joy from watching Korean dramas, and who would have thought that one of the most-loved onscreen couples will continue their happy ending in reality?
On Jan. 1, unexpected news surfaced on social media that "Crash Landing on You" stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are reportedly dating. Hours later, both of the artists' home agencies released statements, confirming that the rumors were true!
Hyun Bin's agency VAST Entertainment shared, "Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin met through their projects, and after the drama 'Crash Landing on You,' their feelings towards each other grew, so they ended up dating. We ask that you watch over their relationship warmly and continue cheering for them. Thank you."
Meanwhile, MS Team Entertainment, Son Ye Jin's agency also released their statement regarding the news, "The two of them got to know each other through their various projects together, and after their latest drama ended, they developed an interest in each other and started dating."
Previously, a famous Korean media website published a report claiming that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin have been dating for almost eight months alreadyㅡand that their relationship started as soon as they finished filming the hit drama "Crash Landing on You."
Meanwhile, the CLOY couple are the first to share their relationship in public on the first day of 2021. After the revelation, fans worldwide started sending their warm support to both actors that they even trended on Twitter. Supporters of the two stars are happy that they finally decided to make their onscreen love relationship into reality.
Son Ye Jin also shared a short message to her Instagram account, confirming that she is happy and grateful for the love that she has been receiving. She expressed, "It's a new year, appearing in front of all of you, this will be the first time that I will be sharing to you about my personal life rather than work-related news, I wonder why I feel so embarrassed."
Ye Jin continued by, "Yes, that's how it turned out," referring about the news of her newfound relationship with Hyun Bin. She also added, "I am not sure what I should say, but I thought at least I should say something to all of you. It feels very awkward and strange. I am very thankful to have been able to meet a good person, and I will work hard to take care of our relationship."
The 38-year-old actress finished her caption by giving thanks to all her supporters, "The love and support that all of you give me, I am always keeping it in my heart. I hope there will be many good things happening in the new year. Stay healthy."
