Former B.A.P Young Jae to Make a Silver Screen Debut with ‘Sing A Song’
Former B.A.P member Young Jae will finally be debuting on the big screen!
On Feb 2, according to an interview with one of the famous online publications, former B.A.P member Yoo Young Jae will star in a movie titled "Sing A Song". He is expected to play the character of Hyun Do.
Young Jae's Movie Debut
The story of "Sing A Song" will revolve around the youth band in Hongdae. Hyun Do has been in love in music ever since childhood. He is also from a classical music elite family, but contrary to them, Hyun Do likes to play pop music. Since he is a former member of one of the famous K-Pop boy groups before, Yoo Young Jae can make use of his talent as an indie band member that is in line to his upcoming character. In fact, he has been doing some acting projects. Young Jae has been part of the record-breaking Korean drama "Mr.Queen". He played the role of Kim Hwan. His funny and bright personality during his portrayal was enjoyed by the viewers.
Young Jae also starred in some web dramas such as "Kim Is a Genius" and "Woman of 9.9 Billion". He started from having small roles and now the 26-year-old artist is about to make his first ever acting on the big screen.
New Career Journey for Young Jae!
The idol turned actor is finally making his way to build a name not just in the music industry, but also in the Korean drama industry. Young Jae's fans were very grateful that despite being a solo artist, he is always ready to try new things that will help him discover his own potential.
After B.A.P disbanded last February 2019, members parted ways and started to build their solo careers. Young Jae decided to sign a new contract as a solo artist under DMOST Entertainment. Aside from pursuing a singing career, he also chose to establish a career in the acting industry.
He has also appeared in various K-Pop music videos such as Secret's "Shy Boy" and "Starlight Moonlight". Young Jae also had his solo debut in April 2019 with the album "Fancy."
The former B.A.P member is also active in communicating with his fans through his official Instagram account. He shares some of his behind the scenes while at work, or just wants to show his current activities with his beloved fans.
