'Navillera' Short Synopsis
tvN's upcoming drama, "Navillera '' tells a heartwarming story that centers around a 70-year old man named Shim Duk Chool, who is portrayed by Park In Hwan. Shim Duk Chool recently retired from his job as a post office employee. Shim Duk Chool's lifelong dream was to become a ballerina. However, several life situations prevent him from achieving his dream and lead him to settle on a normal job.
After retirement, Shim Duk Chool stumbles upon his lifelong dream of becoming a ballerina and decides to pursue it. Many people in his life seem to be bothered by this decision, but he joins a ballet company to learn ballet anyway.

There he meets Lee Chae Rok, portrayed by Song Kang, is a 23-year old man who found his talent in ballet. In Lee Chae Rok's younger years, he never excelled in anything but ballet. Knowing that his late mother was also a ballet dancer, he started pursuing ballet at a young age. However, Lee Chae Rok's love for art starts to fade away as he experiences many challenges because of it. Everything changes when Lee Chae Rok meets Shim Duk Chool. Lee Chae Rok sees his love for ballet through Shim Duk Chool's eyes.

The new "Navillera" teaser starts with Shim Duk Chool saying that never in his lifetime was he able to do what he really wanted to do and says that this time, he was going to do what he always wanted to do, and that is ballet. Shim Duk Chool goes to watch a live "Swan Lake'' performance and is filled with awe.
Later on, Shim Duk Chool's utter amazement allows him to watch Lee Chae Rok practice which Lee Chae Rok asks, "Why are you looking at me?" Lee Chae Rok asks, to which Shim Duk Chool responds, "I'm going to do ballet."

Lee Chae Rok receives news that his father has been released from prison and is seen struggling with a number of problems. Lee Chae Rok remembers his first time seeing ballet and wanting to fly once like a ballerina too.
Much to their surprise, Lee Chae Rok becomes Shim Duk Chool's ballet teacher. This angers Lee Chae Rok which his coach explains to him that Shim Duk Chool will be his new manager. Shim Duk Chool starts to carry out the duties of a manager by waking up early in the morning to accompany Lee Chae Rok's walking.

Shim Duk Chool's wife, Choi Hae Nam, who is portrayed by Na Moon Hee, becomes suspicious of him as well, and she becomes disappointed because her children refuse to reciprocate her affection. Shim Duk Chool urges her to follow her dreams right now, but Choi Hae Nam wonders if she should just stop being his wife and mother. Shim Eun Ho, portrayed by Hong Seung Hee, is also introduced in the teaser, who continues to work hard in her career.

At the end of the highlight teaser, Lee Chae Rok asks Shim Duk Chool why he wanted to pursue ballet, to which he replies, "I also wanted to fly once before I die." Lee Chae Rok and Shim Duk Chool's "father and son-like" relationship continue to progress as both experience hardship in achieving their dreams.
