‘Penthouse 2’ Wraps Up with Heartbreaking Scene between Park Eun-Seok and Lee Ji-Ah + Surprising New Villain
SBS's hit drama "Penthouse 2: War in Life" concluded with a series of intense and emotional scenes featuring the latest episode's twists and turns.
With its consistent number one rating, there's no doubt that the majority of the viewers are hooked on the show's season finale as Jenny and Logan's name went trending on Twitter.
"Penthouse 2" Episode 13: Payback Time
Episode 12 ended with Joo Dan Tae, played by Uhm Ki Joon and Cheon Seo Jin, portrayed by Kim So Yeon, were arrested, all thanks to Shim Su Ryeon's plan (Lee Ji Ah).
As the saying goes, "behind every fortune lies a great crime." This was reflected in the "Penthouse 2" season finale since aside from the duo, some of the Hera Club members faced imprisonment due to Min Seol-A's death and the speculation of the Cheonsu district.
The couple Lee Gyu Jin (Bong Tae Gyu), Ko Sang-Ah (Yun Joo Hee), alongside Kang Mari (Shin Eun-kyung), was arrested after the police found evidence pointing at their involvement with the said crimes.
It was because of Yoon Cheol Ha's confession (Jong Hoon Yoon) and the surrender of Yoon Hee Oh (Eugene) from the police. With this, "Penthouse 2" Episode 13 showed that villains from seasons 1 and 2 paid their sins by being imprisoned.
As for Joo Dan Tae, he faced life imprisonment for housing law violations as well as convicting minors, bribery, confinement, abandonment of corpses, corpse damage, destruction of evidence, attempted murder, and murder.
With Joo Dan Tae in prison, this made Shim Su Ryun, the new owner of the penthouse.
Logan Lee Meets a Mysterious Man on the Plane
Knowing that everything is settling down in Korea, Logan Lee heads to Seoul along with his surprise for Su Ryeon.
He met a person named Jun-ki, played by Ju Wan On, who was sitting next to him on the plane.
As Logan checks on a ring, Jun Ki asks if he is planning to propose to someone. He said that he'd propose when he sets his foot in Seoul.
The next scene showed Joo Dan Tae smirking as he received a secret message informing that Logan Lee is back.

The New Villain
With "Penthouse 2" ending with a loud bang, a new character was introduced.
Kang Ma Ri's husband and Jenny's father, Yoo Pil (Park Ho San), got out of prison after being jailed for five years because of Joo Dan Tae.
As soon as he was released, he immediately contacted secretary Jo which happens to be Dan-tae's right hand.
Logan Lee and Shim Su Ryeon's Heartbreaking Ending
As the plane lands, Logan Lee calls Shim Su Ryeon to meet him.
At the parking lot, he was seen next to Jun Ki, who was sitting in the passenger seat. He then excused himself and left a suspicious-looking briefcase at the back seat.
At the same time, Yoo Pil, who was disguised as an old man, left his cart near Logan's car and headed towards Su Ryeon, who is smiling as she saw Logan exit his car.
He then stands beside the cart while holding a bouquet for Su Ryeon; however, she notices that something was off as she sees Logan's worried face.
In just a matter of seconds, the car exploded, which left Su Ryeon crying hysterically as she witnessed Logan Lee being terrorized in front of him.
