Son Ye Jin to Possibly Star in Upcoming Korean Drama 'Thirty Nine'
After her successful performance in "Crash Landing on You," Son Ye Jin is set to possibly return to the small screen with the upcoming Korean drama "Thirty Nine."
To recall, the actress managed to capture the hearts of fans with her impressive portrayal of the South Korean heiress Yoon Se Ri and her against all odds relationship with North Korean elite captain Ri Jung Hyuk, played by her on-screen turned real-life partner Hyun Bin.
Son Ye Jin in Talks to Play 39-Year-old Cha Mi-jo in the New JTBC Drama "Thirty Nine"
Now, fans get to celebrate as Son Ye Jin might appear in a forthcoming series.
In a report cited by Osen, the actress' agency MS Team Entertainment revealed that "The Negotiation" star is in talks to lead the cast of the new JTBC drama and is currently "under affirmative review."
Aside from the 39-year-old A-lister, she will be joined by the "Hospital Playlist 2" actress Jeon Mi Do, who is also being considered in the drama.
If the duo agreed to star in "Thirty Nine," Son Ye Jin will portray the role of the 39-year-old Cha Mi-jo, who grew up with a well-privileged life and turned out to be the head of a Gangnam dermatology clinic.
Written by Yoo Young Ah, whose famous works include the 2018 drama "Encounter," the forthcoming JTBC drama revolves around the lives and love story of three friends who are about to celebrate their 40s.

Following the speculations, his agency, VAST Entertainment, shut down the rumors and explained that the private residence was not intended to be the couple's marital home.
