T-ara’s Park Ji-Yeon Assures to Set the Bar High in ‘Imitation’ + Behind-the-Scenes During Script Reading
T-ara's Park Ji-Yeon vowed to give fans her performance of the lifetime in the upcoming K-drama "Imitation."
In a recent report, the singer-actress spoke about her character in the new KBS show as she gave the viewers a glimpse of what to expect in the musical drama.

The 27-year-old celebrity is set to portray the character of La Ri Ma, a famous solo artist and a sexy icon wannabe. She is determined to dominate the K-Pop world with her natural talent and oozing charm.
During the interview, she mentioned the difference between her character in "Dream High 2" and says that she will do her best to give justice to her role as a famous idol.
"In 'Dream High 2', I played a young youth who belonged to a girl group called Hershey and was fiercely competing and growing for his dream, but this time I will show you a splendid and arrogant side as a top solo female singer, not as a group," he said.
To recall, Park Ji-Yeon starred in the 2012 hit musical drama, where she played Ri-an or Lee Ji-Kyung, a member of a renowned K-pop group Hershe.
After being introduced as a member of T-ara in 2009, she landed her first-ever lead role in the psychological thriller drama "Soul" together with Lee Seo Jin, Im Ju Eun, and Kim Gab Soo.

The singer-actress continued to share her insights regarding her complicated character in "Imitation."
As much as possible, she tried to not just depict the exterior persona of her character but also her "inner wounds and loneliness" hidden under her strong and vibrant personality.
When it comes to preparation, the "I Wanna Hear Your Song" actress revealed that she spends a lot of time perfecting her performance.
Moreover, Park Ji-Yeon also noted that she's happy to be back on stage and says that she "enjoyed practicing with the choreography team."

"Imitation" Script Reading
KBS continues to update fans with stunning teasers and behind-the-scenes of the upcoming Korean drama "Imitation."
Over the broadcast network's official Instagram, they shared a glimpse during the drama's first script reading.
The socially distanced table reading was attended by the star-studded cast which includes, "Parasite" actress Jung Ji So, ATEEZ members Yunho, Seonghwa, San, and Jongho, as well as U-KISS's Lee Jun Young, SF9's Chani, Danny Ahn, Yuri, Minseo and Hwiyoung, I.O.I member Lim Nayoung, Boys' Republic's Suwoong, Ahn Jung Hoon, and lastly, Shim Eun Jin from Baby V.O.X.
Before their script reading session, Jung Ji So expressed her appreciation for working alongside the brightest stars in the industry.
Meanwhile, her on-screen partner, Yunho, whose first time to do a table read, thinks that he will learn "a lot from working with these great seniors."
