'Penthouse' Season 3 Star Han Ji Hyun Wants Joo Seok Kyung To Be 'More Evil'

"Penthouse" Season 2 finale was quite mind-boggling. It certainly ended on an interesting note and to say fans are excited about the third season is an understatement. Actress Han Ji Hyun herself is excited about the third season and revealed that she wished her character delivers so much more when the next season rolls around.

Since she plays a villain, she actually meant she wants to see her character even more evil (aka annoying). But why?

"Penthouse" Season 2 Ended with a Bang

The ending of "Penthouse" Season 2 certainly did not disappoint. It ended with a good bang, just enough to make sure people will still anticipate the next season. The finale episode showed Logan Lee blowing up right in front of Shim Ryeon's shocked face.

On the other hand, the Hera kids were given some sort of a silver lining when it appeared that Joo Seok Kyung turned over a new lead. Seok Kyung, the role that Han Ji Hyun portrays, is known to be so vile and evil that fans of the show cannot believe she would go and help Ro Na in the last episode. With an ending like that, fans naturally cannot wait for the third season to know whether this Seok Kyung's kindness would persist or this is just a spur-of-the-moment thing.

Han Ji Hyun Wants an Even More Evil Seok Kyung

The actress Han Ji Hyun herself does not know how her role would turn out. If it is up to her, however, she said she does not like her character turning into a new leaf. If the decision would be left to her, she wants Seok Kyung not to just remain evil but become even more villainous and annoying.

So far, Seok Kyung's behavior towards her classmates is truly deplorable. She has so far victimized Bae Ro Na, Yoo Jenny, and Min Seol Ah, and Han Ji Hyun still wishes the character can do something even more damaging. If the character will continue on to be nice to Ro Na in the next season, however, can this even be trusted after all that has happened? Fans will not know until "Penthouse" season 3 drops.

For Han Ji Hyun, if Seok Kyung transforms overnight, this would be a grave injustice. She wants her role to be so bad that something equally bad happens to her. For her to be just nice all of a sudden and then be forgiven for her crimes is not realistic, Ji Hyun implies.

I hope that Joo Seok Kyung does not become good. Isn't she the main leader for school violence? I think that it is impossible for this to end with a simple apology from her," she explained. The actress added that she wishes to see the character becoming so evil in season 3 so she can be punished in the end, even jailed, if possible.

Rest assured, however, that the actress in real life is truly a sweet girl and cannot do all the things that her character has done so far.
