Song Hye Kyo just might be one of the busiest actors for 2021. She does not only have one show in the works for 2021, but two, and one of them is already confirmed to have multiple seasons. That means she's going to be working for the rest of the year and even beyond.

Song Hye Kyo New Show 2021: Back with A Vengeance!

The actress is known to have a very solid portfolio of acting jobs. Her acting prowess ever since she started has made her a household name, and her stunning beauty a familiar face to many around the world.

The last time she was seen in a drama was still in "Encounter," which ran between 2018 and 2019 before she decided to take a break for two years. Before that, she did "Descendants of the Sun," which had such a worldwide following. This is where she and her ex-husband worked together and cultivated feelings for each other.

Her highly-publicized divorce from the "Vincenzo" star Song Joong Ki might have momentarily placed a dent on her career and caused her to lie low a bit, but she's returning with a vengeance. She's announced to be starring in "The Glory," a revenge thriller, and "Now We are Breaking Up."

Both shows are said to be released in the second half of the year, which is technically around the corner. It is not clear which one will drop first.

Song Hye Kyo in "The Glory"

In January, it was announced that the 39-year-old would star in the revenge thriller, "The Glory." Coincidentally, it is also going to be a reunion between the actress and the "Descendants of the Sun" screenwriter Kim Eun-Sook, since this new project is written by none other than the renowned storyteller.

The show will reportedly open to a high school student who drops out after being brutally bullied. After years have passed, the bully's kid is sent to the same elementary school, where one of the instructors is the survivor of the violent bullying that took place in the past.

Song Hye Kyo plays this survivor of the bullying - and the teacher planning the revenge. Interesting.

Also, the show will reportedly have multiple seasons, so that means fans can see their favorite actress for an extended period.

Song Hye Kyo in "Now We Are Breaking Up"

The actress's role in the second drama is a lighter one.

Her name here will be Ha Young-eun, and it will be quite a fun one because the audience can see her being almost her true, fashionable self. The character is a bonafide fashionista and a woman not to be undermined. She is the manager of a fashion label's design team.

In real life, Song Hye Kyo is a known fashion lover and a big endorser of so many luxurious brands, such as Fendi, Chaumet, and Bottega Veneta. She'll surely be a natural in this role.

Nothing is still set in stone about the plot, or at least nothing much is yet disclosed to the public.

The title only hinted that the fans can certainly anticipate "stories of emotional love and breakup."
