Kakao Entertainment Introduces IU as Their New Ambassador of Kakao Webtoon
Singer-actress IU was chosen by KaKao Entertainment as their new model for their global platform KaKao Real Madrid and is excited to have a colorful collaboration for the upcoming year.
Kakao Entertainment is one of the biggest and known entertainment companies in South Korea that produces various content and services for global consumers. Kakao Entertainment and IU will showcase different forms of collaboration starting July 27 where an advertising video will be released through television and YouTube.
IU already worked with Kakao and Real Madrid. And she is recognized as one of the top artists to present a new global standard in Kakao Entertainment. With her powerful influence in the global scene, due to her versatility in singing and acting, IU and Kakao Entertainment are expected to have a lot of synergies.
Kakao is an entertainment brand model that is consistent to show impressive changes through the years. Among all the local artists, Lee Ji Eung a.k.a IU is the most in demand artists in the industry, plus, she received overwhelming love from overseas fans.
An official representative from Kakao shared, "Kakao Webtoon and IU shared a great resemblance for they are adventurous icons and are not afraid of challenges," the official also hoped that the local and international fans would love their latest partnership with IU.

Kakao Webtoon Gains Partnership with Daum Webtoon
Kakao Webtoon will be released for the first time in South Korea this coming August. It is a collaborative work of Kakao Page and Daum Webtoon.
In fact, Kakao Webtoon ranked first in the local app market comic field during its launching in Thailand and Taiwan at the beginning of June.
Meanwhile, IU shared her gratitude for working with Kakao Webtoon. According to her, "I actually finished filming the video for a special concept, it is where I will be able to show you a different side of myself that I have never shown before. Please look forward to my collaboration with Kakao Webtoon, a compelling platform that continuously receives global attention."
Meanwhile, IU is preparing for her silver screen comeback with "Broker," along with Bae Doona, Song Kang Ho, and Kang Dong Won.
