Confirmed: ‘Was It Love’ Star Koo Ja Sung Joins Han Chae Young in the New Drama ‘Desire’
Model-actor Koo Ja Sung will be making his small screen return with "Desire" following his 2020 drama "Was It Love."
Koo Ja Sung Confirms His Appearance in the New Romance-Thriller Drama Desire
According to Sports Chosun, on July 15, actor Koo Ja Sung is confirmed to appear in the new channel IHQ series "Desire" and is foretelling his active character as the leading role in the second half of 2021.
"Desire" is the first drama to be launched by Channel IHQ. It is a romantic-thriller series that centers around the story of four men and women who are determined to do their best to be successful individuals. They will be fueled by their different desires such as success, revenge, family, and love.
Koo Ja Sung Joins Lee Ji Hoon, Han Chae Young, and Ji Yi Soo as the Main Leads
Recently, "River Where the Moon Rises" actor Lee Ji Hoon and "Sassy Girl Chun Hyang" actress Han Cha Young were the first to confirm their participation in the project, followed by Ji Yi Soo.
Koo Ja Sung will be portraying the role of Hyun Seung Hoon, a man who does not hesitate to make hard and complicated choices for success. He is a hard working person who works day and night to take good care and support his family.
Football became Hyun Seung Hoon's life not until he got an injury which made him quit the game and his lifelong dream of becoming the best football player.

IHQ and Victory Contents to Produce the Series Desire
Meanwhile, "Desire" will be produced through a business agreement between IHQ and Victory Contents, which is also the production company that produced the dramas such as "Something Happened in Bali," "War of Money," "Angel's Last Mission," "Woman of 9.9 Billion," "Dinner Mate," "River Where the Moon Rises," and their latest project "At a Distance, Spring is Green."
The director of the drama "Destiny," Kwak Gi Won is in charge of the direction and writer Park Gye Hyung is expected to pen the script.
Actor Koo Ja Sung was popularly known for his previous works, such as "Was It Love" (2020), "The Secret Life of My Secretary" (2019), and "Misty" (2018). He also does modeling both on the runway and in magazines.
"Desire" is expected to premiere in the second half of 2021. This also marks Koo Ha Sung's first drama for this year.
