‘The Veil’ Teases Fans with Namgoong Min’s Dapper Looks as He Transforms into NIS’ Top Elite Agent
MBC gears for the upcoming drama "The Veil," starring Namgoong Min as they continue to entice fans with intriguing teasers featuring the award-winning actor.
The broadcast network released a series of new still cuts showcasing the 43-year-old actor's transformation as National Intelligence Service's top elite agent.
In one teaser, the "Doctor Prisoner" star appears to be on his secret mission while calmly looking at his watch and holding a pistol in his left hand.
Moreover, the second still cut shows the wounded Namgoong Min, but his expression hints that he is in a heated confrontation.
"What's the story behind Han Ji-hyuk, the top spy who lost his memory?" the caption reads.
Namgoong Min is Elite Agent Han Ji Hyuk
In the forthcoming MBC drama, the versatile actor will take on the role of an elite field agent named Han Ji Hyuk.
Because of his successful missions, perfect record, and skills, he is tasked to infiltrate an organized crime syndicate.
Unfortunately, this prompted him to vanish in the face of the watch.
After a year of his mysterious disappearance, Han Ji Hyuk is set to make a bold comeback to trace the traitor responsible for his downfall.
His return would also shake the syndicate down to its core.

'The Veil' Teasers Features Namgoong Min's Shocking Transformation
After announcing the complete lineup of the cast, the broadcasting network has been releasing intriguing still cuts that would set the viewers' curiosity.
In addition, the actor also shared a jaw-dropping behind-the-scenes snap where it featured his surprising transformation.
In Namgoong Min's Instagram post, the actor looked unrecognizable as he was covered with blood and sported a long hairstyle.

Namgoong Min Praised for His Preparation in 'The Veil'
Interestingly, it is noticeable that the "Hot Stove League" star bulked up for the role.
With this, the producers of "The Veil" lauded the actor and his dedication to his role as Han Ji Hyuk.

"From bulking up to constantly analyzing how to deliver each line of dialogue and even each breath, Namgoong Min is portraying Han Ji Hyuk perfectly through his acting," a representative explained as obtained by an outlet.
In addition, the drama producers also pointed out that he managed to deliver the scenes despite difficult stunts flawlessly and its nature being an action blockbuster genre.
'The Veil' Cast, Crew and Release Date
Aside from the actor, "The Veil" cast also includes Park Ha Sun, Kim Ji Eun, Yoon Oh Sung, "Hospital Playlist" actor Jung Moon Sung and more.
Following the star-studded cast, the soon-to-be-released MBC drama also boasts a top-notch director through Kim Sung Yong, who helmed the 2018 drama "My healing Love" and will be working alongside screenwriter Park Seok Ho.
Interestingly, "The Veil" is set to be released this September 3 and will be the newest Friday and Saturday that would surely get all the action crime drama enthusiasts glued to their seats.
